“I arrived at Galápagos in 2008. Back then, the rain would come and change the entire ecosystem. Until the 2015-2016 season; the rain never arrived. I could see the animals struggling and the snails congregating to die together. You could tell farmers were concerned as they had lost most of their crops. When I went back to Quito, I was surprised that nobody knew what was happening. Why are there some voices that don´t get heard?”
